10-12 inch pot - 1-2 plants per pot
Transplant Mix: 4 cups soil/cocopeat + 4 cups vermicompost + 1 cup bone meal or wood ash
That's a 1 : 1 : 0.25 ratio. Mix well, fill pot, water, then transplant.

Watering: Let soil dry between waterings. This plant HATES wet feet. Soggy soil = dead vinca.

Flowers in about 10-11 weeks from sowing.

Self-cleaning - no deadheading needed
Colours shift with weather - lighter in heat, darker in cool. Both look gorgeous
Don’t transplant until nights are consistently warm - cold shock kills vincas
Remember

Wait for warm weather. Cold + wet = dead vinca. When in doubt, wait another week.

About this seed

Vinca Tattoo Papaya is unlike any vinca you've seen before. Each flower features soft orangesicle-toned petals with dramatic dark purple brush strokes radiating from an inky centre eye, creating a truly artistic, hand-painted effect. The upright, well-branched plants are very floriferous and perform outstandingly in hot, sunny conditions where many other flowers fade. Colours lighten with higher temperatures and light, and appear darker in cooler conditions - so the look shifts subtly through the seasons. Tattoo is a novel variety that stops people in their tracks.
