Salvia Vista Red is a compact, columnar scarlet sage with dense, brilliant red flower spikes rising above dark green foliage. The Vista series offers excellent heat tolerance and holds its colour all season long without fading. This is one of the best plants for attracting hummingbirds and butterflies - the tubular red flowers are perfectly shaped for them. At just 25-30 cm tall with a tidy upright habit, Vista Red is ideal for borders, mass plantings, and containers. It's also remarkably low-maintenance once established.
